Nadia Eslinger

Director, BEARLife

Full Bio


Nadia Eslinger serves the students of the University of Central Arkansas as the Director of the BEARLife program. She is a two time graduate of the University of Central Arkansas, Bachelors of Art in History with a Minor in African American Studies (2005), and a Masters of Science in Education in College Student Personnel Services and Administration (2008). Nadiais currently pursuing an EdD in Higher Education Leadership from Maryville University. Nadia believes that every student can succeed if they apply themselves in the classroom, and take advantage of opportunities outside of the classroom.

Before becoming the Director of the BEARLife program she was the Associate Director of Student Success where she oversaw UCA’s Success Coaching Program, Early Alert Progress Reporting, First Generation Scholar Society, and co-managed the Academic Recovery Program. Nadia has presented multiple webinars for Innovative Education on topics such as Success Coaching, Academic Recovery, Training, and First Generation Students. She’s also presented on these subjects at local, regional, and national conferences.

Nadia’s Higher Education career spans over 15 years. During that time she has worked at the University of Georgia in Housing and Residence Life, Arkansas State University also in Housing and Residence Life, and at the University of Central Arkansas where she spent several years as an Academic Advisor before her current role. She is an adjunct instructor at UCA teaching a freshman transition course each fall. All of this has been mostly for fun as her “real” job is being a mom to two teenagers Aidan (17) and Ariah (13).
