Miranda Perry currently works as the Associate Director of the Office of Student Conduct and Conflict Resolution at Northeastern University in Boston, Massachusetts. Her previous employment was as a Residence Education Coordinator for Student Conduct with the privatized housing company, U.S. Equities Student Housing - now CBRE, in Chicago, Illinois. In that position she served as the head conduct officer for a population of 1750 students who attend four separate institutions of higher education. Miranda has also worked as a full time hall director at the University of Illinois at Chicago, and as a graduate hall director at Eastern Illinois University. She received her Masters of Science in college student affairs at Eastern Illinois University and holds a Bachelor of Arts in psychology with a secondary focus of Germanic studies. Miranda has published and presented at regional housing and conduct conferences and at ASCA upon multiple topics relating both to the world of residence life and student conduct. Her ASCA presentations were specifically focused on social media and free speech and on the creation of a Title IX hearing guide for individual hearing officers. She currently serves ASCA as the co-chair of the housing and residence life Community of Practice. When not working Miranda can be found traveling to as many foreign countries as possible and learning new languages.
