Jasmine Grizzard has over a decade of experience working in higher education, with a focus on empowering diverse learners through innovative approaches to learning support. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and a Master of Public Administration from Cal Poly Pomona, where she currently serves as a Learning and Development Coordinator. In her role, Jasmine has reimagined learning center programs to incorporate high-impact learning practices and modern strategies for student engagement.
In her current role, Jasmine oversees academic skill development, which includes academic skills coaching, content review, and the training and supervision of student learning strategists. She collaborates with faculty and academic programs to create targeted strategies that support students in high-fail-rate courses. Additionally, Jasmine leads the training of a large Learning Resource Center staff, ensuring they are equipped to meet the diverse pedagogical needs of the student body. Under her leadership, hundreds of peer and professional educators have been trained to deliver meaningful and impactful learning experiences. Her efforts have earned the Learning Resource Center international recognition from the College Reading and Learning Association (CRLA).
