Dr. Cassie Barlow is president of the Strategic Ohio Council for Higher Education (SOCHE), where she leads efforts to strengthen collaboration among higher education institutions, employers, and community partners while advancing professional and workforce development across Ohio. Before joining SOCHE, Dr. Barlow served for 26 years in the U.S. Air Force and retired as a colonel. Her leadership roles included serving as the 88th Air Base Wing and Installation Commander at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base. She became SOCHE’s president in 2019.
