Charlene S. Gibson is an award-winning tenured communication professor and chair of the Department of Communication at College of Southern Nevada. She is passionate about helping students and clients elevate their careers and earning potential by building their skill and confidence in public speaking and presentation. Charlene is also co-creator and Associate Producer of the Emmy-nominated documentary, No Greater Odds, which focuses on the stories of community colleges and their students. Her work, keynotes, and professional development sessions focus on student stories, community building, and faculty/staff engagement across the United States. Additionally, she has spoken, trained, and consulted for clients and organizations across Asia and Europe, where she lived for eight years before moving to Las Vegas.
