Brenda York, MEd is the Director of Disability, Re-Entry and Veteran Services office at Montana State University. For the past 14 years, Brenda has worked closely with MSU's student veterans to make sure they receive(d) the GI Bill and other help afforded to veterans. About 300+ veterans enroll at MSU each Fall. York has also worked with colleges across the state to implement veteran assistance programs, and MSU also helped convince the Montana Board of Regents to allow state campuses to participate in the Yellow Ribbon program connected to the Post 9/11 GI Bill. York also oversees Disability Services at MSU and is in a unique position for veterans that may need other assistance outside of their educational benefits.
