Benjamin Kaupp is a faculty leader at Foothill College, where he directsTools for Transition & Work (TTW), a year-long, cohort-based program supporting neurodivergent young adults in building independence, self-advocacy, workplace readiness, and college and career skills. TTW recently received state approval for a Certificate of Achievement in Independence and Career Readiness.

Ben holds a Master of Arts in Teaching from the University of Southern California and a Master of Special Education from Arizona State University. He is a doctoral student in education at Johns Hopkins University, where he researches the retention gap between neurotypical and neurodivergent students, with a focus on belonging and neurodivergent identity. His work is grounded in the disconnect between institutional good intentions and students actually experiencing support that is clear, usable, and humane.
