Ann Marie Klotz, Ph.D. has served in higher education for the last 22 years, most prominently within the areas of Admissions, Retention, Student Affairs, and Fundraising. She is currently the Vice President for Development, Enrollment, and Student Success at Naropa University. She has served in senior leadership roles at The New School and Radford University and was previously the Dean of Students at the New York Institute of Technology. She received her B.A. from Grand Valley State University (Political Science) and M.A.’s from Michigan State University (Student Affairs) and DePaul University (Women and Gender Studies) respectively. She earned her Ph.D. from DePaul University in Curriculum Studies/Educational Leadership where she studied the career trajectory and leadership styles of ten female university presidents.

As a first-generation college student from Detroit, MI she is passionate about helping underserved students find personal and professional success through education. She is a frequent speaker, keynote, consultant, recruiter, and trainer for universities and corporations in areas of leadership and development. Recent consultant and executive coaching clients include the National Association of Executive Recruiters (NAER), Lambda Chi Alpha national fraternity, Alpha Omicron Pi national fraternity, Georgetown University, Columbia University, Barnard College, Fashion Institute of Technology, Neumann University, Loyola University-Chicago, and Susquehanna University.

Personal and research interests include women’s career development, professional staff recruitment, developing on-line communities, and capacity-building.
