Allison Haas is a Learning and Retention Specialist at McHenry County College and the former Writing Center Coordinator at the University of Minnesota Crookston. In her current role, Allison works with the staff and tutors of the Sage Learning Center to provide multiple forms of academic support to students and to expand online services. She is a member of the Online Writing Centers Association and presented (along with Kelsey Torgerson and Josh Parrill) on online tutoring at the Higher Learning Commission’s annual conference in April of 2019. She earned her MA in English from the University of Texas at Austin and her BA in English and French from the University of Minnesota, Morris.
