How do you meet regulatory requirements and prepare students for online learning?

Mesa Community College wanted to expand its success resources for its online students while meeting the requirements of regulatory agencies. Using Innovative Educators carefully curated video content, Mesa was able to rapidly build a robust orientation to prepare its students for online learning success.
The orientation teaches students how to be successful online learners while also preparing them to use Mesa resources like Canvas. It was critically important to the Mesa online learning team that the orientation both prepare students and meet the needs of regulatory organizations like NC-SARA and the Higher Learning Commission.
In Innovative Educators Online Learning platform, Mesa found the right tool to build a strong foundation for online learning success and comply with best practices for online programs.
The Orientation to Online Learning we’ve created with Innovative Educators has helped us provide our students with just-in-time tools to help them succeed in the online learning environment and has helped the institution continue to meet regulatory requirements for online programs. Our goal was to move to an inclusive orientation model that students could access anytime, anywhere, from any device, without barriers, and we successfully
met that goal.
