Delgado Community College, with five campuses and a substantial non-traditional student base, sought a way to centralize professional development and improve accessibility for faculty training and resources. Utilizing Innovative Educators’ Go2Knowledge platform, Delgado developed ten professional development pathways, customized to address the diverse roles and needs of its staff. This setup allowed faculty and staff to access training relevant to their positions at their convenience, an essential benefit for Delgado’s part-time and online faculty. Additionally, Delgado created an employee orientation program that consolidated key campus resources, policies, and training tools. The platform’s centralized dashboard included dedicated sections for convocation materials and campus-specific forms, ensuring all faculty and staff could easily access critical resources in one place. This approach not only streamlined onboarding but also equipped faculty with ongoing, flexible development opportunities that were both relevant and easy to navigate, contributing to a cohesive and well-supported faculty community.
