CASE STUDY

Cayuga Community College had been searching for an orientation experience that was fresh and original and also represented their unique and diverse student population. The team was dedicated to creating an orientation experience that would inform, empower, and inspire new and returning students. In addition, they wanted to use the online orientation as an on-demand resource to provide ongoing guidance and further explanation of success strategies.

Cayuga’s online orientation meets the needs of traditional and non-traditional students, working students, transfer students and first-time college students. In addition, the platform’s integration options will allow Cayuga to make orientation mandatory. From start to finish, the orientation provides an engaging learning experience using welcoming messages from faculty, videos shots of campus, and ongoing success videos on topics such as time management and note-taking. The Go2Orientation experience gives incoming students an opportunity to connect with the Cayuga community virtually and prepares them for overall success.

Our mission was to provide a personalized, quality, holistic, educational approach at an affordable cost, to a diverse community. Innovative Educators gave us the tools to do that.
