Rashelle Nagata, OTD, OTR/L works as a learning specialist at the University of Southern California Kortschak Center for Learning and Creativity (KCLC) in Los Angeles. She completed her occupational therapy doctoral residency at both the KCLC, which is an academic success center, in addition to the USC Occupational Therapy Faculty Practice, which is a private outpatient mental health clinic. Rashelle attained advanced clinical expertise in Lifestyle Redesign ®, an occupational therapy intervention that facilitates the health-promoting behavioral change of clients with neurodevelopmental disorders and mental illnesses such as attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder, depression and anxiety. Rashelle currently specializes in the holistic treatment of college students with diverse learning needs to promote health and wellness, academic engagement and overall success. Rashelle serves as a fieldwork educator, mentor and pioneer for occupational therapy graduate students interested in entering this role-emerging practice area of higher education.
