Jessica Wissink

Jessica Wissink, PT, DPT

Dr. Jessica Wissink became an instructor in the Physical Therapist Assistant program in 2019. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Human Biology and Psychology from the University of Kansas as well as a Master’s certificate in Health Services Administration from Creighton University. In 2005, she earned her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Creighton University.

Dr. Wissink has been a practicing physical therapist for more than fifteen years in a variety of in-patient and out-patient areas. She is a Lee Silverman Voice Treatment (LSVT) BIG certified clinician as well as a Hawkgrips level 1 certified clinician. Dr. Wissink also holds certificates as a Kinesiology Taping Practitioner and Advanced Kinesiology Taping Practitioner. She holds a certification in vestibular rehabilitation through the American Institute of Balance. She is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) and Nebraska Physical Therapy Association (NPTA).

At Clarkson College, Dr. Wissink serves on the Advisory Board and as Lab Coordinator for the PTA department. She serves on various committees and is a recent nominee of the Faulty Senate Excellence in Teaching Award.
