Bonnie Ostrand has 13 years of experience in higher education with an emphasis on employee development and has been working at Rasmussen College in Library and Learning Services since 2013. In her current role, Bonnie directly manages online and campus-based Peer Tutors, with a specific focus on Peer Tutor professional development. She also serves as a Co-Chair on Rasmussen College’s Diversity and Inclusion Council. Bonnie holds a B.A. in Psychology and an M.S.Ed in Adult and Higher Education from Northern Illinois University. She has attained Learning Center Leadership Certification (LCLC) Level 2, via NCLCA and has served on the publications committee for NCLCA. More recently, she has begun serving as an LCLC application reviewer. She has presented on topics related to student and tutor success at conferences for CRLA and NCLCA, as well as within her institution.
