Rob Jenkins is a 26-year classroom veteran who has also served as a department chair, an academic dean, and a program director. He is the author of Building a Career in Americas Community Colleges (Community College Press, 2011), a regular Careers columnist and blogger for The Chronicle of Higher Education, and a frequent speaker on the topic of academic careers. He currently serves as Associate Professor of English at Georgia Perimeter College, outside Atlanta.
