Marilee Bresciani Ludvik, Ph.D. serves as chair and professor of the Educational Leadership and Policy Studies department at the University of Texas Arlington. Prior to that, she served as Professor of Educational Leadership at San Diego State University and in a multitude of administrative positions within higher education.
Marilee’s research focuses on using social and emotional neuroscience to decrease students’ and staffs’ stress and anxiety while also increasing their attention and emotion regulation, cognitive flexibility, and compassion. This research intends to inform in- and out-of-class learning design that will close equity gaps and improve career readiness.
