Laurie is an academic affairs administrator and teaches in the applied psychology department at Bryant University in Smithfield, RI. At Bryant, she is responsible for the administration and development of programs and curricula aimed at student success and retention. She oversees the University’s Academic Center for Excellence and is the Curriculum Coordinator for the First-Year Experience (FYE) course. She has been designing curricula for FYE and study skills courses for over twenty years, and has been a higher education consultant for the past ten years.

Our aim is to provide researchers and practitioners with a comprehensive resource for finding information on college student retention and attrition.
