Andrea Harris has worked in higher education for over 20 years, and helped achieve an integrated student services department at Pepperdine University, where she oversees the staff academic advising center and the frontline student services department. Ms. Harris serves as a mentor, a cluster representative and on the Emerging Leader Program Advisory Board for the National Academic Advising Association, where she has also served as the past chair of probation/dismissal/reinstatement Interest Group. She recently moved back to her childhood home in Los Angeles, CA with her husband, son, and 4 adopted dogs. She enjoys temporary tattoos, heavy metal and popcorn, though not necessarily in that order.
