Valdis Zalite currently serves as the Director of Academic and TRIO/Student Support Services at Southeast Missouri State University. Mr. Zalite is a key player in the collaborative efforts and programming of the Academic Support Centers and the Enrollment Management and Student Success Division at the University and serves on several campus wide committees addressing student and academic affairs related issues. Mr. Zalite is currently serving as the President of the Educational Opportunity Association (EOA) and is a Past President of MO-KAN-NE. Mr. Zalite has held various leadership posts connected to educational opportunity in addition to serving on local school boards. Mr. Zalite has presented at the local, state, regional and national level, is a senior consultant and co-owner/operator of LEAD Consulting and Training, and has over a decade of professional experience in Higher Education.
