Tiffany Green originally from Riverside, California has served in different positions in the Student Services area at Drake State Community and Technical College in Huntsville, AL.. She has been a Career Coach, Enrollment Services Manager and currently is the Student Success Specialist. She has worked at Drake for ten years. She is currently working on her doctorate at Grand Canyon University in Higher Education Organizational Leadership. She received her B.A. and M.A. from Alabama A&M University in Psychology and Clinical Psychology. For eight years Mrs. Green worked in the Counseling Profession as an Adolescent and Adult Therapist. In her current position at Drake State, she provides personal and academic counseling to students, over the Orientation Course and session and is over retention for the college. She is also Program Director over the Summer Bridge STEM Program and Middle School Summer Camps and the Program Manager for FLEX FACTOR a STEM based program for high school student’s.
In addition to Counseling, Mrs. Green collaborated with colleagues on a manuscript entitled Lessons in Transformational Change: An Exploration of Implementing an Early Alert System at a Historically Black Community and Technical College and which was presented at the National Symposium on Student Retention in Louisville, Kentucky. Mrs. Green enjoys the opportunity she has to do public speaking as it relates to education and motivating young adults about their future. Even with a full day and accomplishments her favorite time of all is spending time with her family and raising her sons Noah Josiah and Nigel Jerimiah.
