Zach Manning is the Associate Director in Transition & Engagement at Texas Tech University, where he oversees Red Raider Orientation and Red Raider Camp. He began his career in 2007 at Texas Tech as the Coordinator for Red Raider Camp. Taking on additional administrative roles throughout his 13 years, he has always worked with the Red Raider Camp program. Zach has been an active member of NODA: Association for Orientation, Transition, and Retention in Higher Education since 2009. He has served on regional and annual conference planning committees, extended orientation network, and as a NODA Board Member. At conferences, he regularly presents on extended orientation programs in addition to raising funds to support student success programs. He is passionate about helping other professionals develop programs to assist students in their transition to higher education. Zach earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from Angelo State University and a Master of Education in Higher Education Administration and Student Affairs from Texas Tech University. In his leisure time, Zach enjoys spending time with his wife and four kids, traveling, and running.
