Sandy Gharib is Coordinator for Learning & Development at Virginia’s Community Colleges Student Success Center. In this role, Sandy dedicates her time to the learning and professional development needs of faculty, administrators, and staff.
Sandy is a Licensed Professional Counselor and prior to joining the VCCS in 2016, she worked as a clinician serving clients with mental health and substance abuse issues and later as a Crisis Intervention Team training coordinator for first responders. She is passionate about the change process and helping individuals reach their full potential. Sandy earned her B.S. in Psychology from Longwood University and M.S. in Counseling from Eastern Mennonite University.
