Dragan Gill is a reference librarian at Rhode Island College in Providence Rhode Island. She is interested in Information Literacy, Open Educational Resources, Information Design and collaborating with the campus community to enhance student support and provide new learning opportunities. In addition to providing reference and instruction, she often collaborates with student success offices on her campus. As Co-Chair of the Rhode Island Open Textbook Initiative she works with librarians in higher education throughout the state and the state’s Office of Innovation to educate and support faculty in use of OER and open textbooks. Dragan received her BA with a concentration in Cross Cultural Studies from Simon’s Rock in 2006 and an MLIS from the University of Pittsburgh in 2008.
