Dr. Creagh has served as the Director of First-Year Experience for seven years, since the implementation of York College of Pennsylvania’s revamped General Education and First-Year Seminar program. Dr. Creagh coordinates the co-curricular Common Hour program which delivers a consistent student-success curriculum to every student enrolled in first-year seminar. She also coordinates the Fellows Peer Mentor program which places a trained peer mentor in every first-year seminar course. Dr. Creagh is an integral part of the first-year support team at YCP, which is currently focusing on new initiatives to serve and engage first-generation and under-resourced students. Dr. Creagh holds a Ph.D. from Stony Brook University. Prior to joining the YCP team, she was a history faculty member at Penn State York. Including serving as a faculty member in YCP first-year seminar program, Dr. Creagh has been teaching college students for nearly 25 years.
