Amy Nelson is a Financial Specialist at the University of Nevada, Reno and manages the financial wellness program, Nevada Money Mentors. Amy strives to empower students with financial knowledge and resources so that they make informed, confident decisions about their money. Although Nevada Money Mentors is still in the early stages of expansion, in 2019 the team reached over 4,000 students and facilitated over 300 hours of financial coaching with students. When Amy is not talking about money she loves spending time in the great outdoors with her husband and their two little girls.
