With over 15 years of experience in Higher Education, Alina R. Haitz has served in various roles throughout her career in Higher Education, but her expertise is in providing excellent service to others through intentional and strategic and mindful communication. Alina began her career working in admissions and then transitioned into an entirely different area responsible for expanding the institution's training, development and mentoring opportunities as well as coordinating internal communications on behalf of the Office of Human Resources at Molloy College.
During her time in Human Resources, Alina facilitated leadership training to Deans and Administrators at Molloy College through a 30-hour credentialed program through the University of Connecticut called Empowerment Skills for Leaders. Currently, she has advanced into a new role now working in Academic Affairs as the Associate Director in the Center for Professional Studies and continues to facilitate and educate business leaders and professionals in Higher Education in the areas of Mindful Leadership and Strategic Communication.
Alina is also a published author of a short book of daily reflections on Mother Nature titled, "I Am..." She is passionate about mindfulness, self-care and discovering the calm in the chaos of everyday living. She lives on Long Island, NY with her loving husband and son.
