How Livingstone College Transformed Student Engagement with a TRIO SSS Online Orientation Program
CASE STUDY
Livingstone College’s TRIO SSS program sought to leverage an online orientation to deliver a consistent and accessible onboarding experience for its diverse student population, including first-generation and low-income students.
By utilizing a virtual platform, the college ensures that all incoming TRIO participants receive essential academic resources, support services, and guidance tailored to their unique needs. This approach not only enhances student engagement but also fosters a sense of community and belonging, which is critical to improving retention and success rates for underrepresented students.
The most significant impact that Go2Orientation has had on our program is the ability for students to have the opportunity to complete workshops, virtually and at their own pace.
