Overview

This webinar focuses on how to create a welcoming and supportive college environment for LGBT students.  The LGBT-Friendly Campus Climate Index (www.campusclimateindex.orgwas launched in 2007 in response to the increasing demand for tools and resources to support campuses in assessing LGBT-Friendly policies, programs and practices. This free service assists in learning ways to improve LGBT campus life and ultimately shape the educational experience to be more inclusive, welcoming and respectful of LGBT and ally people. Participants will learn how to use the index from a case example and learn suggested strategies to create change on campus.
