Strategic Metamorphosis: Transforming Community Colleges
Overview
With increasing pressure to show accountability to constituents, community colleges must be able to tie together accreditation, continuous quality improvement and performance measures. Attendees will discover how one community college created a vision and strategic plan, emphasizing student success and tying together these areas with state mandates and national initiatives. Upon request participants will be sent a CD-Rom disk that includes copies of the community college’s vision, strategic plan, action projects, institutional climate survey, and student satisfaction survey.

Objectives Attendees will learn how to utilize a team approach to create a community college vision and strategic plan that ties together accreditation, continuous quality improvement, state mandates, performance measures, and student success. Community College Administrators, Faculty, and Policy Makers Who is the speaker? Dr. Kevin Pollock received his Ph.D. in Higher, Adult, and Lifelong Education from Michigan State University. He also holds a Master of Arts in Education and a Bachelor of Science in Education, both from Central Michigan University.
