Using Peer Review to Promote Learning, Collaboration and Student Success Available On-Demand
Overview
Peer review can have disastrous consequences without clear direction from the instructor. However, it has the potential to promote learning and collaboration among students, and make the instructors’ grading more satisfying. In this session, participants will learn how to effectively conduct peer review for improving writing and thinking in both face-to-face and online classes and also in the co-curriculum. They will learn how to adapt or use rubrics to successfully implement the peer review process.
Objectives
Participants will learn the essential guidelines for conducting a successful peer review process. They will learn how to use rubrics to guide students’ feedback to each other.
