Dr. Sally Riconscente, CRC, LRC, is an Assistant Director of the Academic Center for Excellence at Bryant University where she serves students individually and in workshop settings to enhance their academic success. She also designs curriculum and teaches first-year experience courses that integrate metacognitive skill development and social adjustment to the university.
An experienced educational consultant and adjunct faculty member, she teaches a variety of courses for the Department of Applied Psychology at Bryant University and the Department of Psychology at Bristol Community College. In recent years she has designed and taught online courses and explored effective methods of building student engagement and a sense of community for the Bristol Community College Division of Behavioral and Social Sciences.
Dr. Riconscente earned her baccalaureate with a double major in English and Philosophy from U MASS, Boston, her Master Degree in Rehabilitation Counseling from Rhode Island College, and her Doctorate in Education with a concentration in Higher Education Leadership from Johnson and Wales University. She is a Past-President of the New England Association on Higher Education and Disability, a certified English teacher in Massachusetts and maintains national certification and a MA state license as a rehabilitation counselor.
