Denise Swett, Ed.D. has over 20 years of experience in higher education. She has been the Vice President of student services at Canada College and the Dean of students at Chabot College and was part of the leadership team in student services at the University of San Francisco. Denise is a member of the Community College Advisory Board for NASPA, has an Ed.D. from the University of San Francisco, a MPA and BS from San Jose State University, and is currently the Associate Vice President of Middlefield Campus & Community Programs at Foothill College. She manages Career Technical Education and Tech Prep Federal and State grants, as well as private Foundation grants.
Valerie Kisiel has over 10 years experience as a teacher, advisor, recruiter and web administrator at the high school and the community college levels. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in English from Colorado College and a Master’s degree in Information and Learning Technologies from the University of Colorado, Denver. As an owner of Innovative Educators, Val works full-time on behalf of the company and teaches/advises part-time at Front Range Community College. Prior to this, she served as the Coordinator of Student Success for Online Learning at Front Range Community College. Her responsibilities included instructional design, course development, faculty training and online instruction.
