Overview:
There is a broad increase in students coming to our campuses with mental health difficulties. Therefore, it is essential for student affairs staff as well as counselors to have an understanding of key concepts and how they impact college and university mental health. This webinar is designed to give student affairs administrators and college counseling staff a review of the most pressing issues impacting college and universities from a mental health perspective.

Join us and you will hear the president of the American College Counseling Association provide a clear outline of issues impacting incoming students from a mental health perspective. Dr. Brian Van Brunt will review ACHA data, AUCCCD data and popular media surveys conducted by MTV and the JED foundation to highlight these trends. Discussion will include how these trends are impacting budget decisions, potential choices to charge for counseling services, looking at outsourcing or limiting on-campus counseling benefits.
