Kate Mueller, Ed.D. is the Director of the Al Rowdah Academy in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. The Al Rowdah Academy is part of The Institute of Applied Technology, an institution of higher education focusing on Career and Technical Education; the Al Rowdah Academy focuses on academic pathways and preparing students in English and Basic Skills and college preparation. Kate is on a leave of absence from Orange Coast College (CA), a large comprehensive community college where she has served as the Dean of Student Services for eleven years. Areas of expertise for Kate include program review, student learning outcomes, and threat assessment. Her background is broad, including student conduct, student government, student life, leadership development, enrollment services, financial aid, multicultural programming, new student orientation, accreditation, and special events. Kate also serves as the NASPA Community College Division director.
