Goldie Adele, JD. is a lawyer with 10 years experience in higher education focused on disability services, diversity programs, and international student services. He is currently the Director of the Disability Resource Center at Southern Connecticut State University in New Haven, Connecticut. He has served on various statewide and national professional organizations focused on disability, civil rights, and education issues. During his 10 years in higher education, he has experienced the changing climate of higher education and the current need for proper policies and procedures in order to maintain compliance, accreditation, reduce legal liability, and promote professional and organizational growth. Each aspect of his professional experience requires creation, implementation and continued maintenance of good policies and procedures. He has worked with various on-campus groups in order to create and maintain policies and procedures. He has also worked with regulatory and accrediting bodies in creating policies and procedures that meet their standards.
