Amy Coleman, Assistant Chair of English, Arts, and Humanities, supervises 43 part-time instructors. Ms. Coleman has been teaching English at Georgia Perimeter College for seven years. She began her work there as a part-time instructor in 2005. Ms. Coleman is passionate about mentoring part-time instructors. She attributes her own success to the mentoring she received early in her career.
Ms. Coleman earned her Master’s degree in English language from Eastern Michigan University. This spring she will graduate with a second Master’s degree: Master’s in Education with an emphasis in Instructional Design and Development.
