In the mid 1990s, the focus of academic institutions began shifting from what is taught by the faculty to what is learned by the students. This new focus on learning resulted in renewed interest in establishing campus learning centers. Learning centers have the potential to become the nucleus of initiatives that focus the entire institution on improving learning. However, to realize this potential, learning center leaders must identify stakeholders and partners, establish a campus wide presence for the learning center, and implement effective strategies for expanding the learning center's sphere of influence.
This webinar will provide strategies to enable the learning center to achieve significant campus-wide impact. The discussion will include specific strategies that will help you improve student learning and successfully move your learning center to a leadership position on campus.
